Veterinarian
Dr. Natalie Allers was born in Derbyshire, England. She moved to London to complete her Bachelors in Veterinary Medicine, and where she met her wonderful husband.
After completion of her degree, she got selected for a position within the UKs largest charity practice, the PDSA, for a year long graduate programme. Dr. Allers found charity work extremely rewarding, learning the magnitude of how important the human-animal bond is for so many people.
Dr. Allers then moved the Manchester, UK, to work for a large referral and emergency hospital, where she gained her interest in Critical care medicine. She relished the opportunity to work alongside many specialists, gaining wisdom from their experience in many different medical fields.
Dr. Allers made the move over to the United States around 5 years ago, with her husband who is from Upstate New York. They decided there was enough bad weather in England and settled on Charlotte to lay down their roots. Their family has grown quickly, now with two cute kitties and a sweet baby boy keeping them busy.
Since moving Stateside, Dr Allers has worked primary in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care, working alongside some of the most skilled individuals she has had the pleasure to know through her career. Her passion to continue to grow as a clinician peaked when she gained additional Masters level certification as an Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Medicine. She now is thrilled to continue to provide excellent care for the community at PetForward.
Outside of work Dr. Allers enjoys yoga, hiking and spending as much time with family (on both sides of the ocean!) as possible.
